This is the Aladdin "mystery" unlisted lamp! There is no listing of it in J. W. Courter's book "Aladdin the Magic Name in Lamps." I have not found an example of it in the information I have on Aladdin electric floor lamps either.
It is very close in design to the Aladdin B-426 which was manufactured from 1941-1942 and again from 1946-1951. Everything except the base matches the B-426 floor lamp.
The finials at the top and bottom of the pole (riser) are not painted. They are gold plated, which matches the design of the B-426 floor lamp. The fluted pole also matches it. The base however is completely different from the B-426 floor lamp and I can't find an example of it in any information I have.
The gold plated finials really stand out on this lamp. The color scheme would match the design of the B-426 floor lamp. The one thing that really distinguishes this lamp is the "gold plated" finials at the top and bottom of the pole. As far as I know the B-425 and B-426 floor lamps were the only two Aladdin floor lamps to have the "gold plated" finials.
The shade on this lamp is an original Aladdin 16 inch Whip=O-Lite shade even though it looks rather small on this floor lamp. Items like this floor lamp are what can make collecting so interesting!
